Thursday, and it all comes crashing down

Two words for you:

Cinnamon Rolls

...and they were delicious*...some of my best, so far

And I'm out of good veggies, so I am feeling listless and bored when it comes to menu planning.

So sue me.

*They were supposed to be for the gals I visit teach and some friends, but practically no one was home when I went on delivery duty. So what was a gal like me to do? No, seriously, I just kept tasting them and they just kept on tasting good.

I didn't count, again, today. And do you want to know why?

Because I ate, like, five of those danged shortbread triangles from yesterday this morning, before breakfast. That's why!

And I figured "well there goes the day, might as well pig out like crazy." Which I didn't actually do--though I didn't, in any sense of the word, eat like a lady.

Tomorrow we begin anew!
